What was the main reason for DCT to sponsor PIEK IEC? Dita says: ‘DCT started collaborating with PIEK years ago, because this partnership is very beneficial for both parties. We sponsor PIEK with our Flux Remover 4 sprays and special ESD wipes, designed for manually cleaning flux residues, especially after hand soldering, which PIEK addresses in its training and certification courses.’
What are the main results that DCT hopes to see as a result of this sponsorship? Dita continues: ‘Our main goal and benefit is to raise awareness of DCT cleaning solutions in the regions and among the customers where PIEK is active. Another benefit we see is increasing awareness of proper hand cleaning after manual soldering or after repair processes.’
How does DCT see the collaboration with PIEK IEC developing in the future? Dita smiles for a moment and says: ‘Ongoing collaboration in the field of cleaning is very important, both at PIEK events and at trade shows and other technical events. We believe that the DCT team will also recommend PIEK and increase awareness of PIEK in European markets, given their professionalism in training and certification in accordance with IPC standards. In the future there may also be opportunities for joint technical workshops and courses for our joint customers in Europe. PIEK is considered the top company in Europe for training and all IPC certifications and is able to provide these services both at PIEK training centres and on-site with the customer. For us they are an ideal partner,’ Dita concludes.
