Bien qu\u2019il soit de plus en plus souvent assist\u00e9 par des robots m\u00e9dicaux intelligents et minuscules, le chirurgien sera toujours le responsable du bloc op\u00e9ratoire. Dans cet article, nous nous pencherons sur plusieurs inventions modernes issues des quatre coins du monde.<\/p>\n<p>La croissance internationale du march\u00e9 de la robotique m\u00e9dicale s\u2019acc\u00e9l\u00e8re. Alors qu\u2019en 2017 encore, ce march\u00e9 ne repr\u00e9sentait que cinq milliards d\u2019euros, on s\u2019attend \u00e0 une augmentation de 300 % en 2023, et nous sommes encore loin de tout ralentissement.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c0 l\u2019heure actuelle, les robots m\u00e9dicaux sont d\u00e9j\u00e0 utilis\u00e9s pour les op\u00e9rations mini-invasives. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 ces dispositifs, les proc\u00e9dures pr\u00e9sentent moins de risque pour les patients, n\u00e9cessitent des incisions plus petites, sont moins douloureuses et offrent un r\u00e9tablissement un peu plus rapide.<\/p>\n<p>Le syst\u00e8me employ\u00e9 \u00e0 cette fin s\u2019appelle le robot Da Vinci. Plus de six millions d\u2019op\u00e9rations ont d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e9t\u00e9 effectu\u00e9es \u00e0 l\u2019aide de ce dispositif \u00e0 travers le monde. Bien que le syst\u00e8me ne soit pas encore totalement irr\u00e9prochable, il est plus efficace et plus s\u00fbr que la chirurgie ordinaire.<\/p>\n<p>La technologie des capteurs est largement employ\u00e9e pour assurer l\u2019efficacit\u00e9 des robots m\u00e9dicaux. Gr\u00e2ce aux algorithmes pr\u00e9programm\u00e9s, le dispositif est en mesure de man\u0153uvrer \u00e0 l\u2019int\u00e9rieur du corps humain pour trouver son emplacement souhait\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Une \u00e9quipe de chercheurs du Massachusetts Institute of Technology a d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 un robot filiforme qui peut \u00eatre dirig\u00e9 par magn\u00e9tisme. Ce dernier est si petit qu\u2019il est capable de se glisser dans les vaisseaux sanguins du cerveau humain. Cette technologie pourrait par exemple \u00eatre exploit\u00e9e pour \u00e9liminer des caillots en cas d\u2019h\u00e9morragie c\u00e9r\u00e9brale.<\/p>\n<p>La r\u00e9alit\u00e9 virtuelle est elle aussi pr\u00e9sente dans les salles d\u2019op\u00e9ration. Coupl\u00e9e \u00e0 un robot m\u00e9dical, la technologie permet en effet aux docteurs de p\u00e9n\u00e9trer \u00e0 l\u2019int\u00e9rieur du corps du patient. Ils peuvent par exemple op\u00e9rer \u00e0 l\u2019int\u00e9rieur de la cavit\u00e9 abdominale en y introduisant un robot miniature qui reproduit les manipulations que le chirurgien effectue dans la salle d\u2019op\u00e9ration.<\/p>\n<p>La robotique m\u00e9dicale est tr\u00e8s prometteuse pour le secteur des soins de sant\u00e9. Gr\u00e2ce aux robots m\u00e9dicaux, il sera possible d\u2019aider les patients \u00e0 distance, sans qu\u2019un sp\u00e9cialiste doive \u00eatre physiquement pr\u00e9sent. Ce d\u00e9veloppement permettra notamment d\u2019offrir des soins aux populations recul\u00e9es et difficilement accessibles.
